I am a Filmmaker, Ethnomusicologist, DJ, and Event Organizer. I have 5 years of formal film training, 3 years in the film industry of Los Angeles, and 4 years in the study of ethnomusicology and documentary filmmaking. My passion is music culture and my medium is filmmaking.
I have worked in many different capacities as a filmmaker. I have directed documentaries and live video events, have acted as director of photography on docu-series and music videos, and have edited feature length documentary films and pilots. I studied filmmaking at Idyllwild Arts Academy, Los Angeles Film School and Hampshire College where I focused on editing, cinematography and directing.
My professional titles while in Los Angeles were mainly cinematographer, editor, and gaffer, with some directing credits on music videos for artists such as Casey Abrams and Excision. My current documentary film series "Microcosm" attempts to chronicle electronic music communities internationally. From Paris and San Fransisco to Croatia, the series is expanding it's scope.
